情人節將近，不過印度未婚男女若在當日「公然親熱」，極有可能面臨遭人逼婚的奇特窘境。印度保守組織放話，會在情人節派成員至各地「埋伏」，向在公開場合親吻的情侶逼婚。
據《THE TIMES OF INDIA》報導，印度保守組織反對西洋情人節的價值觀，放話會在情人節派人至商場或公園等處埋伏，活捉公然親吻擁抱的情侶，要求他們結婚。若情侶不從，組織便會予以適度「懲罰」，如公開批評、通知父母等。
報導指出，該保守組織除埋伏捉情侶外，還會密切監視社群網站，若有情侶違反印度傳統價值觀，公然在臉書、推特上「放閃示愛」，也會受到處罰。
